Works great but the manual is poorly written(translated from another language presumably, and is lacking vital information.
Sound quality is impressive and is easy to install.

Works with my 2006 Honda Pilot EX L NAV. It was easy to install. There are many videos online that show you exactly how to install this. You will need a Torx set to secure it to the rails. I still need to find a use for the crossbars, so I can justify the purchase to my wife.

Installation with the U-Bolt Mounting System

Installation and/or removal of the Sidekick Rooftop Cargo Box from your rack is easy and fast via Thule's U-Bolt mounting system. This nearly tool-free mounting system allows you to attach your rooftop box to virtually any roof rack in minutes. Each corner of the Sidekick has a series of four pre-bored holes aligned along the length of the box. Included U-Bolt hardware is slid up from the bottom, across the crossbars of your rack and into two of these four holes. Once through, the hardware attaches to one of the four supplied knobs. Simply twist the threaded knob to get a secure hold that you can count on, and easily remove as you please. Also included as part of this system are all the hardware needed. Because of the pre-bored holes, the Sidekick requires a minimum spacing of rack crossbars of 23⅝", and a maximum spacing of 32 1/16".

Simple Use, Stowage and Security

Once Thule's Sidekick Rooftop Cargo Box is installed it is extremely easy to use. Easy access to gear is guaranteed with Thule's passenger-side opening system built into the lid of Sidekick that also allows for one-handed usage, with the lid staying in place when opened. Perfect Size for a Subaru Outback : Thule 682 Sidekick Rooftop Cargo Box

Yes, this box is not as thick and heavy as the larger pro-line boxes....and that's precisely why I like it! It provides about 50% more storage space for my Outback wagon and looks nicely proportioned to the car (not like those bigger monster-sized boxes would look on top of a small wagon).

While some folks have said it took 2 people to assemble, I was able to do it myself just fine. It's also lightweight enough to put on and take off of the car by myself as well (I'm a middle-aged female). Once you start loading it up, it doesn't wobble around anymore and provides a good secure, dry enclosure. I was able to haul a tent, chairs, sleeping bags and other camping gear in it with no problems.

Well worth the money. Very nice product!
